Cottage Project
Completion of ground level and first floor level of an 1800's Cottage (originally two converted into one) in County Durham.
Overall size of project totalling 172.52m2
Our client requested the entire first floor to be levelled, due to the age of the building the flooring was subsided.
We used 6mm and 9mm plywood to level the subfloor, following this we supplied and fitted carpets across the 5 bedrooms and staircase/landing.
The ground level our client opted for an Amtico flooring which matched the heritage and aesthetics of the building. This involved sub preparation similar to the first floor using plywood and also applying a skim, we then fitted the Amtico laid herringbone with a one plank border feature and feature strips.
